     The subject field should be filled in since the notes are archived and it will help people searching.   If you are replying to a note and the basic subject of your reply has changed, please change the subject heading.

     It would be best if you add your location to the end of each note since geography is often relevant to bird related items.

    It is not intended for commercial announcements but since it is a free listserv, commercial messages may be sent by the organization that donates this site.

    Flames will not be tolerated.

    And the two most important rules - keep on posting and have fun.

Once you have sent in a request to join the list, you will get a response from the listserver. It is necessary to reply to this message in order to confirm your subscription. This is done in order to prevent fraudulent subscriptions.
