| The guide was not kidding about the rookery. The trees were filled with all sorts of birds and their nests and young. Mostly the White Ibis, but also Great and Snowy Egrets, Green Herons, Black-crowned Night-Herons, Anhingas and probably many others that I couldn't see. The trees were filled with bird calls also and it was nice to see the adults flying in close to us. |
